Sacked in the Morning

I was given an executive Ticket for the 'Steel City Derby' - Sheffield Wednesday vs Sheffield United - yesterday. As you may have read in one of my pre-season posts I wasn't overly enamoured with the appointment of Brian Robson and Brian Kidd as the management team that had been given the job of leading United back into the premiership. The season so far had gone no way to prove me wrong, and yesterdays performance was absolutely abysmal.
I think United forced one save from the Wednesday keeper all game, and and defensively were poor also. My first concerns were when we got the team sheets passed to us, just after a very nice full English breakfast and Cream Scone, in the VIP Dining Room. He had chosen to start with just Rob Hulse as the sole striker, against Sheffield Wednesday a team who had been even worse than United this season, he decides to sit back and invite them on to us.

The final result was a 2-0 defeat and if it wasn't for the performance of the United keeper, and some awful finishing from the Wednesday forwards it could have easily been 5-0. Oh and by the way Wednesday were awful also , just not as bad as we were.

I think the rest of the United faithful are also beginning to lose hope in the Manager and the prospects for the season, whilst they would constantly chant their love of the Blades. The only chant Robson got directed at him was

'Your getting sacked in the morning !!!' from the Wednesday fans
